Wells Brothers Restaurant in Racine

Lived in Racine for 21 years heard all of the raving reviews from people and finally had the chance to try there pizza. I order a couple of pizzas one being the pepperoni thin crust pizza. When eating this pizza you, quite frankly, need to discard other thin crust pizzas you have tried. This pizza is very unique, in the sense that all the ingredients that make up the pizza are equal and nothing is too strong in flavor. What really give this pizza good taste is the crust. The crust is almost like a cracker like thin and it makes the pizza very well. We have been custom to "American" pizza, and this is Italian pizza. Well done Wells I hope to be back soon.

The best pizza in town.Make reservations on Friday evenings though! I forgot to but they still found us seating. But it's better if you do have reservations. Friday's are really busy... its all worth it though.

Super slow service. Caned mushrooms and very little sauce on the pizza. But the restaurant was crowded, and from what I have heard people love the place. It wasn't for me, unfortunately. I wanted to like it, I truly did.

Super disappointed yesterday...husband's beef sandwich looked like throw up on a plate and my ravioli was tasteless and barely warm! My family has been going to Wells Bros for decades so I really am disappointed. I guess we will just get the pizzas from now on!

When I lived in Racine we went to Wells weekly. Now whenever I am home Wells is for sure a stop we make. Great food and fantastic staff.

People describe Wells Bros pizza as "Milwaukee Style" or "Tavern Style" yet no matter what, it's a great thin crust pie which won't break the bank, located on the south side of Racine. My only complaint is that they charge full price for half orders on toppings. Why?

Excellent Tuesday Night Special...16" pie with Sasuage and Pepperoni. Bucket of 6 Ponies (selected High Life's), HOT Fries were Excellent from start to finish. Superb Service!!! and Tiramisu!!! I think this is a great go to pizza joint if you are looking for something tasty. It is my go to pizza join, when I am craving just good old pizza. Love it.

This restaurant is doubtless one of the coolest place in the region. Whenever I visit this place I am absolutely pleased. They keep their high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You always win with this restaurant. Very recommended.

I heard from many people this was the best pizza in the area, and we drove from Pewaukee and it was outstanding!! The best thin crust Pizza I have ever had!! The service was great, and the quality of the pizza was WOW!!

Great pizza. Nice staff.

Picked up dinner to-go and one of the items, a calzone, was completely inedible. The side was split and the bottom was so soggy and disgusting. Tried salvaging it by reheating in the oven but all we could do was throw it away. Lesson learned, stick to the pizza.

We were missing our pizza and Old Fashioneds so we ordered a half baked pizza today and made our own Old Fashioneds! Also got lasagne for tomorrow. Pizza was awesome as usual!

This pizza was everything a Milwaukee-style pizza has ever wanted to be. Nice thin crust that was crispy and stood up to its topping load, lightly sauced, generous toppings. Zero complaints, just so good. I truly wish they were closer to where we lived, but we'll make the trip and be back again in the future.

The best pizza -THE BEST! Cracker-thin crust with corn meal. Did I mention it's the best pizza? Also the best antipasto salad. Go. Eat. Be happy.

Best place for anything Italian in southeastern Wisconsin. If you come here you will not be disappointed!! Excellent atmosphere, customer service, great food and a small business feel. The only negative is it is in a rough neighborhood, but there are undercovers there if need be. Overall this is my absolute favorite place to eat in racine. Definitely check them out!

Regularly have lunch with my family here and the food is always great. Ravioli is to die for and the Pizza? The Pizza is the best around.

We went for lunch, got seated right a way, Sammi our server was excellent. She was on top of everything. Great variety of soup offerings and specials. We ordered a combo basket for an appetizer, it was huge! Easily enough for 4 people. Fried Eggplant Sticks, Fried Green Beans and Mozzarella Sticks, the marinara was delicious, flavorful and not sweet like a lot of Italian restaurants in the area. We ordered soup, Lemon Chicken Orzo and Clam Chowder, both very good. For lunch, a Calzone with bacon, mushrooms and hamburger, also The Goomba. Both came out piping hot both delicious. The Italian Sausage in the Goomba was outstanding! All in all the food and service was fantastic. I rated only 4 stars because the 2 guys in the kitchen making and cutting pizzas, who were both in full view of our table kept going on their cell phones, and neither one washed their hands when they handled food.

Actual family company which says a lot, also well-known for their seriously delicious pizzas. They still have plenty of other really good item's too. If you never had their Pizza before you will not be disappointed if you try it!

This spot offers extraordinary service as well as tasty food. The best restaurant in town. The drinks and food arrived quickly and the rates were affordable. I recommend this place.

Pizza is always phenomenal and there's a great gluten free selection for those in my party who need to avoid that.

Many people in Racine think Wells Brothers has the best pizza around. They only serve thin crust and slice it into small squares for easy sharing. The restaurant is not very large and is very popular so there is often a wait for a table, but they do have a separate bar area where you can wait. If you call to carry out a pizza during a busy time expect a 45 minute wait to pick it up, and we've even had them tell us an hour once. We've always found it worth the wait!

Folks have been coming to this place for years. It's a real down home neighborhood kinda pizza joint. Pizza is great. Plenty of beer. People just smiling, laughing and having a good old time. Worth a visit! You might have to wait a bit for a table, it's a popular place.
